Built specifically for the commander of the dead, the Scythe offers stat boosts to the Necromancer's Intelligence and Vitality. The core mechanic of this build revolves around building up essence through summoning Bone Spikes, devouring corpses, and unleashing powerful Skeletal Mages with Singularity.Īlong with the new Necromancer class comes a new weapon class: the Scythe. This particular arrangement of skills is available at an early level. Selecting a build can be a daunting task, especially for a new class. Then, as the group is dwindling down, use Blood Rush to race ahead to the next group, negating any cooldown on the kill counter. In unison with your minions, you can attack a group of enemies face on. Now, the Necromancer is able to keep on the move, dishing out attacks and moving to the next group of enemies quite quickly. This serves as an incredible asset to combo-building. Once you reach level 30, Bone Rush becomes available. Then, utilize this bank to create an army of skeletal mages or overwhelm the enemy with Bone Spears. Using either Bone Spikes or Siphon Blood, build up a significant pool of essence. The key to a successful rhythm is to build and spend this Essence in an effective manner. The Necromancer's skills are fueled by a new resource called Essence. While at a distance, the Necromancer can build up essence to fuel the barrage of minions to flood an oncoming enemy. A great combination of Skeletal Mages and the ability to Command Skeletons creates a solid front line of fodder to protect the player character from harm. The Necromancer'at its strongest when its minions are doing the bidding.
